The recipient of Spain's most prestigious dance award, the Premio Nacional de Danza, Baras is adored in her home country, making flamenco box office history with a record-breaking five-month run in Madrid.
Here, Baras presents her acclaimed show Sabores (Flavours), which premiered at Sadler’s Wells’ Flamenco Festival 2006. The show offers a thrilling whistle-stop tour of the many different palos, or styles, found within flamenco. This “sleek, seamless show” (The Times) is the perfect showcase for Baras’ huge talent, building to a truly spectacular free-form finale.
