American Friends
The American Friends of Sadler's Wells is a non-profit organisation established in 1980 to support the dance programme at Sadler's Wells. It also specifically supports Sadler’s Wells cross-Atlantic activities including bringing dance companies coming from America to perform in London and more recently helping to take Sadler’s Wells productions to the US. Sadler’s Wells is developing a relationship with City Center New York to exchange more work and so the American Friends will become increasingly important.
The registered name is Sadler’s Wells Association Inc. which is a tax-exempt public charity under sections 501 (c) (3) and 509 (a) (2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
